Open Source Yacht Platform

Yachtmemory connects existing onboard technology into one integrated system.

The YMBox collects data from existing devices, sensors and bus systems and turns it into a long-term memory for your yacht.

From individual systems to one platform

Yachtmemory transforms separate onboard data into a connected ecosystem.

Modern yachts generate a large amount of data – navigation, energy, weather, engines, sensors, documents and system states. Yachtmemory stores this information locally in the YMBox and makes it available for long-term use.

Local first

Your yacht remains fully operational – even without internet access.

The YMBox operates completely locally on board. Dashboard, database, sensors, analysis and control functions remain available without cloud services or an internet connection.

Local dashboard

All data and widgets can be displayed directly within the onboard network on tablets, notebooks or smartphones.

Local database

The YMBox stores positions, weather, energy data, anchorages, documents and system states permanently on board.

Secure cloud connection

For remote access and synchronization, the YMBox connects to the YMServer exclusively through an encrypted VPN. The yacht is never directly accessible from the internet.

Internet connectivity extends Yachtmemory with remote access, synchronization, fleet functions and public yacht pages – but it is not required for onboard operation.
